The purpose of the magazine is to provide information on and for the Jazz guitar community in a clear and high quality form. To this aim a team of well known and respected contributors has been pulled together to provide a wealth of information, with interviews, articles, transcriptions, style analyses and instruction.

The magazine is printed in black and white on high quality paper, with four issues produced per year. There is a minimum of advertising, space being restricted to adverts of interest to the jazz guitar community.
