We've kept all the functionality of our old site, and have managed to pack in a few extras on the new site.

For example, our JazzPlayer can handle more MP3 files and you can download them from our new 'Downloads' section. Speaking of our Downloads section, you can download articles, lessons, and new features; reviews as well as JJG Desktop Graphics. All of our lessons and other materials from the printed magazine are in PDF format. Our 'Media Center' has both pictures and movies as before, however, now the movies are flash streaming media and all of our galleries can be seen as a slideshow.

You can now look at larger pictures of the current issue as well as the Table of Contents page to give you a better idea as to what the printed magazine looks like. 

We've got another new feature that you might like and that is, Jazz Guitar news feeds. These 'feeds' are from other sites that we've found that contain lessons or articles on Jazz Guitar and are presented as content on our site. Our site also uses news feed technology (called RSS or Really Simple Syndication) so that you can keep up with what's new on our site, just by subscribing to our feed.

We've had details about upcoming gigs in the jazz guitar world on our site for a while now, however, our new calendar will let you know of upcoming events and will even show you a map of how to get there (thanks to Google Maps).

All of our content is searchable, even the articles we have in PDF format can be searched listed and browsed.
